After services the Youth held a Spaghetti Luncheon fundraiser and the Girls in Action sold cupcakes for dessert. The GA’s meet each Wednesday to learn about missions and are led by Christi & Michelle Welsh. The girls are: Audrey Raulerson, Brianna Smith, Summer Welsh, Charlotte Welsh, Madison Welsh, and Elizabeth Welsh.

The church Bible Drill was held later that afternoon with Ann Meeks and Arlene Minter in charge.
Brother Wendell Dutton, Cherokee Baptist Association Director of Missions was the special guest who called the drill.
Those drilling were: Kalum Smith, Logan Smith, Brianna Smith, and Audrey Raulerson.
The children did a great job quoting scripture, finding books in the Bible, and remembering key passages…all with a ten second time limit!
Many church members were present to support the children as well as guests from North Ledbetter BC in Anniston and Leesburg BC.
T Treva Hanvey, David Law, and Janice Welsh volunteered to judge the event and Linda Morgan was the timekeeper. Refreshments were served after the drill.
Fifth and sixth graders, Kalum & Logan Smith are eligible to move on and will participate in the Association Drill on April 10th at East Centre BC with the possibility of going to District at Meadowbrook BC in Oxford on April 19th. Grades one through three can only participate in the church drill.
